This is the largest collection and its purpose is to support the teaching programmes of the Knox Centre for Ministry and Leadership and the Dept. of Theology & Religion at the University of Otago.  It is also a study collection for the wider Church and members of the public.

There are strong historic collections in Biblical Studies, Systematic Theology and Church History.  The collection should represent important developments in all branches of Christianity, with some emphasis on the Protestant Churches, although acknowledgement should be made that these areas are in no manner comprehensive areas of collecting.

The historic theological material is a key support for the Department of Theology & Religion at the University of Otago, as well as being a study collection for the wider Church and members of the public. The Theological collection includes Reference and Journals Collections.
